Pre-existing medical conditions

Sometimes we can’t offer cover for certain existing medical conditions. If we can’t cover an existing medical condition, help is still available.  You may be able to get cover from a specialist medical insurer instead.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) have worked with firms to create a Medical Cover Firm Directory. The directory lists all the firms that may be able to provide a policy to cover your medical conditions.

They can't provide quotes - but they can direct you to specialist firms that can. All firms are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and have been through a rigorous selection process to prove their specialism.
